Home Stirling Walking The Marches - Saturday 30th May 2026
The event commences at 11am at the Rotunda in the centre of Stirling with an introduction from the Provost and Bellman, followed by a report from the Captain of the Birlawmen to confirm that the Marches have been inspected and are intact. The procession will go through the city centre before heading to the Smith Art Gallery and Muesum where a toast to the Marches will take place, before continuing onto Cowane's Hospital where the procession concludes and there is entertainment.
The Walking of the Marches is followed by a lunch, please check our website for details, please note that tickets must be booked in advance

The Route
The Walking of the Marches is a public event and accessible to anyone able to walk around the centre of Stirling. We hope you will come and join in for all or part of the route.
